Science Olympiad

This school year Adam has been participating in Science Olympiad at the middle school. It is a science club that culminates with regional, state and national competitions. He has been working with four groups, covering meteorology, rocks and minerals, aviation, and stars. This past week he attended the regional competition in Hays, KS. He competed in two events. He and his partner, Kathryn Byers earned 1st place in Rocks and Minerals. They will now go on and compete at the state competition in April.  I'm proud of him for working hard and trying his best. A fun side note--Adam and Kathryn were in the same kindergarten class.  She then moved to another school.
