Matt's favorite sandals died today. I bought them last summer at a garage sale for 50 cents. He has worn them nearly everyday since then. He loved them because he could pull the elastic strap and put them on by himself. I'm not quite ready, myself, to put them in the trash because of the sweet memories of Matt wearing them so much.
